Lyles commits to Citadel
Union safety Kendrick Lyles has verbally committed to play college football at The Citadel. Lyles (5-10, 190) had 83 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions as a senior for the Yellow Jackets. He played in the Shrine Bowl. He also had offers from Newbery and Wingate.
Union quarterback Justin Knox already had committed to the Bulldogs. Both will make it official next Wednesday, signing on the dotted line during National Signing Day.
